Die Saison verlief für die Zweite verlaufen. So wurde gegen den Bezirksmeister Borna zweimal verloren. Gegen den zweitplazierten Lok II wurde eine Positive Bilanz erreicht. Ansonsten war das Spieljahr ohne große Höhepunkte. Am Ende sprang Platz sechs heraus. Auch im FDGB-Bezirkspokal war schon im Achtelfinale gegen die Zweite von Chemie Böhlen Endstadion.
